When link building — find your industry directory…
Link building seems to be a strong topic these days among search engine marketers, SEO firms, and internet marketers. If you are looking to start a link building campaign then I would suggest the TOP 3 Ways to Link Build Below:
1. The best paid directories are Business.com, and the Yahoo directory.
2. If you cannot afford a directory then DMOZ.org is a must. This is the largest managed directory available online and it is free, although it may take several months in order to get your directory posted… The best hint I have is to keep trying… Re-post, Re-post, and Re-post…
3. Search and find industry directories that relate to your type of business. For example, if you are in “insurance” then you may want to search for “insurance directories” or even “auto insurance directories” and “home insurance directories.” Once you find a strong directory make sure that the site has been around for a long time, plus check the sites page rank as well… You may also want to check the domain on the WhoIs just to make sure that this site is a real directory catered to your industry.
Keep in mind that you may or may not want to submit into directories that your competitors are building links from…
Yes, this is your optimization piece for the day…
